WATHANN FILM FESTIVAL

Wathann Film Festival is the platform for promoting creative an artist filmmaking in Myanmar. Festival happens every year during September since 2011. Through out the whole year we organized Filmmaking Workshops, Seminars and Traveling Cinema in Myanmar. We also invite filmmakers, artists, curators, festival programmers to Wathann Film festival to exchange the culture and to build the mutual understanding and to collaborate on creative works. WFF’s competition is for local independent artists and filmmakers to present their films and it represents also a space where filmmakers and independent artists share their knowledge and experiences in filmmaking. We have other programs to screen the Southeast Asian films starting from 2016. We also invite programmers filmmakers from SEA to present their films. We have been organized Animation with Japanese animation artists for 4 years. WFF also have International Program to screen the films from around the world. There will be Panel Discussions and Master classes for the filmmakers.
