SeaShorts Film Festival

The SeaShorts Film Festival 2020 dedicated to Southeast Asian Cinema. With the theme of "Reimagining Short Films, Reinventing Short Film Festival", the short film screening programme challenges both filmmakers and the audience on their perception of what a short film can be in today’s world. Also, the Forum of Festival will invite ASEAN filmmakers to come together, to share our visions and stories that are both unique and yet familiar to each other, and to weave the future narrative of the region.

Despite some annual programme such as Southeast Asian short film competition, Next New Wave short film competition and S-Express programme, short film screening of experimental film, music video, special focus on the work of Southeast Asian artist such as Kidlat Tahimik and Nguyen Trinh Thi.

SeaShorts Film Festival 2020 will also invite filmmakers, scholars on Southeast Asia Studied, artists, writers from Southeast Asia to share their vision by having 5 masterclasses, 3 workshops, 5 panel discussions and 2 exhibitions.
