AUNTIE is a middle-aged Singaporean widow who spends her nights in line-dancing classes at a local park and watching her favorite Korean dramas. After the recent death of her husband, her son SAM decides to take her on a trip to South Korea to get away from Lunar New Year in Singapore. But when Sam is called for an important job interview, the trip gets canceled and Auntie learns that if he gets the job he may move out of the country for good.
Auntie signs up for an all-inclusive package group tour and travels out of the country on her own, taking the rst step of embracing a new chapter. But, the trip takes a different course when she is left behind unintentionally by the tour guide, KWON WOO, a man too preoccupied with his own familial problems to do his job properly.
Winter’s snow falls as Auntie searches for her missing tour bus. She is approached by RINGO, a middleaged security guard who offers to help reunite her with the tour group. In order to save his job, Kwon Woo returns to nd Auntie. The trio embark on a road trip across South Korea that takes Auntie on an unexpected journey of self discovery and understanding the life she wants to have for herself.
